Prospective
Students
UNDER GRADUATE
The College offers a four year Bachelor of
Science degree in various options. Visit the programmes to see the
undergraduate programmes on offer.
You should at least have an MSCE or its
equivalent obtained in the past two years and should have accumulated at least
six credits including English. All applicants who have an MSCE or its equivalent
are required to sit for an entrance exam and selection will depend on both your
MSCE grades and the entrance exam mark on a 50:50 ratio.
Applicants from High Schools and Other
Colleges
The University has a general entrance requirement
which is described in terms of 'A'-levels and GCSEs or a range of other
qualifications that they regard as equivalent. Details should be sought from the
Admissions Registrar's Office . The level of the normal offer for each degree
also depends on the faculty you want to join. Say if you want to join the
faculty of Science then you should have good grades in the sciences.

POST GRADUATE
The College offers a two year Master of Science
degree to students from the Malawi and the SADC region. In the first year
students are expected to take courses prescribed by their supervisory
committees. During the second year the students are expected to carry out a
research project whose details will have been outlined and accepted during the
first year of the programme. Find your
area
of interest .
All applications must be made on the
University
application forms and an interview is conducted. If successful a place is
offered to you. Accommodation is offered on campus where by students pay rent
and do their own cooking.
